Thomas's Story

After Cardinal Gibbons, I went to Catonsville Community College for two years and then one year at U of M, College Park. Transferred to University of Baltimore and graduated from part-time night school in 1972. I got married in 1970 and have two wonderful and success children who both graduated from college. My dughter has her Master's Degree. I got divorced in 2001. I then moved to Odenton where I now live. I worked for Monumental Life Insurance in the Home Office in Baltimore from 1971 to 1973. I worked at the Department of Personnel for the State of Maryland from 1973 to 1977. I then transferred to another...Expand for more
State agency. I worked at the Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund as Director of Human Resurces and Administration from 1977 until my retirement on June 30, 2009. I am fully retired and enjoying it. I play softball several times a week and enjoy fresh water fishing in ponds, lakes, and rivers on the Eastern Shore. I have fun with gardending and enjoy fresh tomatoes every day in the summer. As is everybody else, I am very sorry to see Cardinal Gibbons being forced to close in 2010. I remember my time there very fondly. I was a senior for four years and it was fun with no upperclassmen to haze us. Go Crusaders.
